Important Customer Information: PGP TrustCenter is now part of Symantec

Earlier last year Symantec acquired PGP Corporation, PGP TrustCenter’s parent company. Shortly thereafter, Symantec acquired VeriSign’s security business, including its Code Signing, SSL and Authentication businesses.

As a result of these acquisitions, retail customers for code signing certificates will now be handled by the VeriSign and Thawte brands, which are now part of Symantec’s code signing offerings.

New code signing customers can rely on Symantec’s code signing products for the same high quality, reliability, integrity and excellent root ubiquity they’ve come to associate with TC TrustCenter.

Customers of TC TrustCenter should be aware that this change does not impact:

• Issued TC Code Signing certificates: Code Signing certificates issued by TC TrustCenter in the past will continue to function without interruption until the end of their validity period.
• Product support: Customer support for issued TC TrustCenter Code Signing certificates will continue to be provided by TC TrustCenter. Support can be contacted through our web site.
