TC OCSP Responder
The TC OCSP Responder is the basis for using the Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) in your public key infrastructure. OCSP enables fast, automatic validation of deployed certificates.
Enabling Real-Time Certificate Validation
The usual method of validating individual certificates by comparing them to certificate revocation lists (CRLs) is not terribly efficient. Plus, the evolved Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) generally contains relatively extensive CRLs.
