Important Customer Information: TC TrustCenter is now part of Symantec

Earlier last year Symantec acquired PGP Corporation, TC TrustCenter’s parent company. Shortly thereafter, Symantec acquired Verisign’s security business, including its Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate and authentication businesses.

As a result of these acquisitions, retail customers for individual SSL certificates will now be handled by the Verisign brand GeoTrust, which is now part of Symantec’s SSL offerings.

New retail SSL customers can rely on GeoTrust products for the same high quality, reliability, integrity and excellent root ubiquity they’ve come to associate with TC TrustCenter.

Customers of TC TrustCenter should be aware that this change does not impact:

• Issued TC Trust SSL certificates: SSL certificates issued by TC TrustCenter in the past will continue to function without interruption until the end of their validity period.

• Product support: Customer support for issued TC Trust SSL certificates will continue to be provided by TC TrustCenter. Support can be contacted through our web site.

• Unified SSL and client certificate management platform: Customers looking to centrally manage both SSL certificates and client certificates will continue to be serviced by PGP TrustCenter’s TC ID Store offering.
